Double Anniversary – Traktionssysteme Austria Publishes Commemorative History Book
60 years of industrial history at the company‘s site in Brown-Boveri-Str. 1 in Wiener Neudorf and the 20th company anniversary of Traktionssysteme Austria (TSA) are a remarkable success! On the occasion of this year’s double anniversary, the Institute of History of Art, Building Archaeology and Restoration at Vienna’s University of Technology was commissioned in 2017 to compile a corporate history book.

Another Major Investment – New Paint System for TSA in Wiener Neudorf
Traktionssysteme Austria (TSA) invested EUR 750,000 in a new industrial painting system at the company headquarters in Wiener Neudorf in order to modernize the coating process. We put much emphasis on the careful use of resources as well as the shortening of production cycles for our electric motors when we were scouting for the right coating line. With this project, all our investment plans for the year 2020 are now completed as scheduled.

New Eurocity trains ECx by Deutsche Bahn to be equipped with TSA motors
Traktionssysteme Austria (TSA) was awarded to design and deliver motors for 23 Eurocity trains to Deutsche Bahn. The vehicles will be produced by Spanish manufacturer Talgo in Madrid, and the Bilbao-based company Ingeteam Power Technology will supply the entire drive technology. The order comprises 92 units of the TMF 69-44-4 engine type, making the locomotive engines one of the largest TSA has ever developed and produced.

TSA to supply motors for the new high-speed train by Stadler
Stadler Rail engaged TSA to develop and construct a new motor generation for the high-speed platform EC 250. In the scope of this initial order, 29 vehicles for the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) will be equipped with TSA motors. The units are to operate with a top speed of 250 km/h. The new trains will be used from the end of 2019 onwards in Switzerland and Italy, starting on the route between Zürich/Basel and Milan.
