Home » TSA alternators power train at Huawei Technology Campus in China
Traktionssysteme Austria (TSA) was awarded by Voith Turbo to design and deliver asynchronous alternators for the Voith RailPack for a vehicle project in southern China. The vehicle design is reminiscent of the well-known Jungfraubahn Railway in Switzerland. Our robust 375kW alternators complete the Voith RailPack 400DE/500DE, the most modern and efficient diesel motor in its class. The alternators generate the electrical power for Stadler Rail’s new rolling stock.
Huawei’s Campus Ox Horn in Dongguan is separated into 12 different towns which were modeled after specific European cities. Some of the metropolises that were chosen for inspiration include Paris, Verona, Granada and Budapest. To get the employees around the large car-free Technology & Research Campus and between the individual cities, Huawei has its own means of transport which will operate along a route of approximately 8 km. The campus can reportedly accommodate up to 25,000 employees in its European-style towns.
