TSA delivers 1000th motor!

The Moscow Metro is one of the world´s subway systems with the deepest tunnels and stations. It also is one of the busiest subways, as it gets around 2.4 billion passengers where they need to go. The route length measures 346.2 km which is placed in the list of the longest metro systems worldwide.

In 2011 Traktionssysteme Austria has already stepped into the Russian market and was the first European company to supply engines to the company Metrovagonmash for the Moscow Metro in 2013. Following a purchase order in 2015, Traktionssysteme Austria delivered another set of type TME 43-23-4 motors. Meanwhile, the total volume has already increased to more than 2,500 units. In peak months, TSA manufactures far more than 100 units and has now reached the historical number of 1,000 delivered motors!
