Considering the big differences in the weather conditions, it is obvious that traction motors for trains in Russia need to have different technical specifications than those that are used for rail vehicles in Saudi Arabia. Thermal stability, the amount of cooling air and the emitted sound levels are just some of the criteria we have to consider when designing a machine. What do we do in order to meet the high demands of our customers in order to produce the highest efficiency? How do we design, develop, manufacture and test our electric motors?
