Three new trams in Cagliari fitted with Urbos motors

The Cagliari light rail transport services (Metrotranvia di Cagliari) from the island of Sardinia placed an order with CAF Spain for the expansion of the fleet with three new complete tram sets.

The proven low floor concept of the Urbos 3 vehicles with laterally arranged double motors by Traktionssysteme Austria has convinced the operator. This is the first time for italian trams to be equipped with Urbos motors.
