The motors will comply with the guidelines of the “Buy America Act” and will be produced from a manufacturing partner in the USA.

After the renewed call-for-proposals from the „Metropolitan Transit Authority“ in Houston, Texas, USA, for 39 LRV-trains, Traktionssysteme Austria received from the manufacturer CAF in Spain the order for 156 motors.

This order supports our Northamerica-strategy, in which a sales organization will be established in the USA to strengthen out market presence.
